David

David's Pickleball journey began in Fort Lauderdale Florida where the city had two temp court nets set up on a roller Hockey Rink.  From day 1 James Santiago instilled a “this sport is for everyone” philosophy that David became addicted to.  Over the years David has worked in Pickleball Clubs, started pickleball at tennis clubs and helped many communities navigate the wonderful people and processes to make sure the sport is an asset to the community.  All Florida Pickleball was started because those who can’t do so, form a business to heckle others.  The sole purpose of All Florida Pickleball is to give joy to players and communities that have a long lasting positive impression of the sport that will spur future growth and give more opportunity to others.

Common Phrases you will Hear From David:

“I take the S out of fast”

“Don’t worry, everyone saw that shot”

“$50 per complaint”

“Suggestions have to be written on a $100 bill and will be discussed with the team at dinner”

“You have an idea for us? We have a sign up sheet for you to run with that idea”

Anything that possesses the power to get Jay off the couch is formidable! Such a realization became the foundation of his pickleball addiction. A product of Pinellas County, this graphic designer has witnessed the sport’s ability to revitalize a community park and bring its residents together! Now a pickleball evangelist, he seeks to help All Florida Pickleball continue its mission of sharing the sport with all who wish to wield its positive influence.

Kerry

Kerry is a recent FGCU marketing grad with a passion for pickleball and fitness. She learned to play in the pickleball capital of the world. As pickleball obsessed as they come, she hits the courts every day. "I love tournaments, playing and running them, my goal when running a tournament is that the players are having as much fun as I am."  Kerry runs the Flex League in Naples as a way for competitors to compete during the week but also for those that think they want to compete to give it a try and see if they like it.  "The prizes are getting better too!"
